Elections guidance
Elections are an exciting time at the union, it's students chance to elect other students who they think will make a possitive change at the union! It's natural that socities want to get involved, but there's a few rules that societies and society leaders need to follow to keep it a fair and democratic process:
- Candidates might want to speak to your members at meetings/via your social media platforms, that's totally allowed as long as you allow all who ask to do so!
- Your commitee can also endorse a candidate.
- If a candidate is a part of the committee they must ask the permission from the other committee members before they post anything elections related on the society social media.
