Hello all!!
Next week we are fortunate to have two more guest speakers, this time from the Vintage Malt Whisky Company! They are an independent bottler founded in 1992, have received numerous awards for their bottlings and have started a rum distillery on Islay. Our speakers will be Ben Inglis, distillery manager of Islay rum and Caroline James, Company Secretary at VMW. They will be bringing along five lovely whiskies and a bottle of their islay rum that we're sure you'll enjoy. They will teach us about the rum distillery, the company and the bottles themselves.
The details for the tasting are below:
- The tasting will cost £10 for members, and £12 for non-members
- The tasting will be at The Student Union on the 25th of November at 19:00 (7:00 pm)
- Members will be prioritised depending on sign up numbers
- Please bring some ID with you. If you're lucky enough, we may need to ask for proof of age if you look under 25!
