Joined in 2016

As Vice President Community, I’m responsible for co-ordinating the work of student activities within Halls, RAG, Societies and volunteering. I also aim to create a programme of various events that meet the needs of a diverse student body in order to enhance YOUR experience. Moreover, I want to hear from YOU!

What events do you want here?

Do you fancy starting up your own society or want to be involved in one?

How’s that CV looking? Need something extra on the side?

Feel free to drop me an email, call me or even pop into the office for a chat! I like visitors smile.

A little about Sheona

Well hello!

So unlike the other sabbaticals and officers, I’m here for fun.

No joke, I am your first point of contact for student activities and events. I work closely with various staff members and officers of the union to ensure you have the best experiences regarding societies, halls and volunteering opportunities (plump up that CV!).

I’m a recent graduate of Heriot-Watt and was very active within the union as a student. From social secretary to President of the Drama Society, charities officer to activities executive member, a student ambassador for open days and until very recently, a duty manager for Geordies bar. I had the best 4 years here and I know you will too.

I’m looking forward to working with you all this academic year and I hope you all have a blast here at Heriot-Watt. Make the most of it, no doubt these will be the best years of your life xo
