Welcome to our university's Economics Society. Are you studying economics or wished you did? Or maybe you've just watched the Big Short or Wolf of Wall Street and now you have an itch for some economics. Then this might be the society for you!
At Coffee Days join us for topical discussions with lecturers where you can interact more closely with the staff without the formalities of the classroom. We also have themed nights planned to explore some of the fundamental economic principles, like Game Theory Night where we will examine game theory using poker and see what Neumann and Nash were really talking about. And if none of those suit your taste, we do hit the town at least once a month, 'testing' the deminishing returns of a night out.
