With the support of the Annual Fund, this year we are launching our Galashiels and Orkney Community Fund to aim to improve community and belonging in those campuses – something fed back to us by you the students.
This is designed to empower and resource students to host events of their choosing! The way it works is you fill in this form outlining the event or activity you want funding for and how much you are requesting. This will then go to an oversight group at the Student Union, who may ask a few more questions regarding the event/activity and support you in making it happen!
There are a few things the fund can’t be used for, the main one being food and drink, but the Student Union may also be able to support you separately if the event needs catering.
