With Christmas just around the corner, we thought we’d try an exciting new activity to help support our students that have their own side-hustles and encourage our community to shop locally. We know many enterprising HW students already make and sell a range of arts and crafts items, and we think it would be nice to really shout about some of the amazing things you make to the wider HW community.
We’re holding a virtual Christmas Fair in the first week of December, and we’d like to invite any student that makes / sells art, crafts or gifts to book a FREE stall at the fair.
We’ll promote the fair across the HW community (and wider) to showcase your products and link directly to an existing online store-front that you have (such as Etsy, FB Marketplace, eBay, Not on the Highstreet etc) for people to purchase your items.
Each “stall” will have a dedicated profile page within the fair, with space for information about your business, links to your socials as well as a gallery to showcase the types of products you sell. For more information and to see a mock-up of what your stall profile might look like click here.
If you’d like to register for a stall, please use the link below. As we said, it’s completely free to book a stall and be part of the fair – we only ask that you do all you can to promote the fair through your own social media channels, to help support other students in our community.
