What’s the job?

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated person to join our team of catering staff. You will work as part of a close team to feed the hungry students in the Union’s eating outlets, providing outstanding customer service and making sure your kitchen is the cleanest in Edinburgh!

This is a part-time job during term-time. Shifts will normally be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.00pm some evenings and weekends may be required with advanced notice. Hours will be term-time only.  Flexibility is expected depending on what we have going on.

This position requires work during the day, so is not suitable for students who will have lectures / classes that they need to attend.

Who are we?

We are Heriot-Watt University Student Union. We’re based at Riccarton and our main goal is to make sure that Heriot-Watt students have THE BEST TIME whilst studying here. As well as the kitchen, we have two food and drink venues, nightclub and shop, plus we work with Students to make their time at Heriot-Watt the best it can be.

You’ll join a friendly, hardworking and professional team and have a real opportunity to make a difference to the food our students eat.
