PGR Member of Parliament
PART-TIME ROLE, PAID A STIPEND OF £650
As the Postgraduate Research Member of Parliament, you are responsible for collecting the views and needs of other Postgraduate Research students at Heriot-Watt. You will give a voice to these students in Parliament and across committees with the University (such as the University Committee for Research and Innovation and Research Degrees Committee), and work to find solutions to student issues.
The issues raised by the PGR MP are not limited to academic issues and you will be there to improve all aspects of Postgrad life from more socials to better support and everything in between.
