Re-elect Cameron – Keep Making Real Change Happen

1 - What skills and experience would you bring to the role?

Over the past year as Student President, I’ve fought for real change on issues that matter to you. I’ve:

✔ Led National Campaigns on student housing, lobbying MPs and MSPs for changes to bring rents down and tenant rights up.

✔ Secured Wins like improved cost-of-living support and better reporting systems for harassment.

✔ Proven I can deliver—with a record of fighting for students and getting results.

Co-ordinated the first-ever S.H.A.G week! -

I bring strong leadership, a year in the role, and a deep understanding of student needs. I know how to get things done, and I’m ready to go even further.

2 - Why do you want the role?

This year has been incredible—I’ve fought for students at every level, from financial support for students to speaking with MPs and government officials in London. Because of this, the government are finally taking student issues seriously!

But I’m not done yet. I’ve restructured the Union to make it more effective at fighting for students, and I will use this to lead bold campaigns for real change.

Most of all, I love talking to students and dedicating my role to pushing the university to listen and act for you!

That’s why I’m running again—to keep making changes for you.

3 - What campaigns or student issues are most important to you?

Increasing Housing & Rent Protections – I’ll keep lobbying the government, so we can all access safe, fair, and affordable housing.

Improving Cost of Living Support – I’ll secure more support and better financial aid, so you don’t have to choose between rent and essentials.

Reducing Academic Workload – I’ll ensure the university reduces excessive workloads and improves student well-being.

4 - Where can I find out more about your campaign?
