We heard you were looking for a job and you are in luck! We have several NEW fantastic part-time positions opening, which we need U to fill! We have a variety of roles ranging from paid to volunteering! Each of our roles will be starting in September, but we might bring you in for some fun training before the Summer!

Who are we?
In our quest to put “Students First, Always” we never stop looking at how every bit of Heriot-Watt University Student Union works. We sweat the small stuff, because we know it makes a big difference for our members (that’s any student enrolled at a UK campus). But at the heart of this are our people – who we couldn’t do without. They are our welcoming, brave, fun, empowering and student focused team who bring their A game. Every. Single. Day. The question is – are you ready to bring yours?
HWUnion works to support the student experience, whether that is creating opportunities for people to socialise, helping people to make a change, championing people when they’re doing well or dusting people off when things don’t quite go to plan. Our staff, elected officers and volunteers all make this happen under one simple goal. Students First, Always.

What opportunities are there?
We have a variety of roles available - all starting at the end of August / beginning of September, ready for the new academic year. Some are part-time paid positions, some are voluntary positions - so we have something for everyone!

Click on the opportunities above for more information about what the roles involve, but first here's a couple of things to look over...
- Please pay attention to the application deadlines as they aren't far away - so don't delay!
- Paid roles will require you to attend an interview shortly after applications close, so please make sure you will be available
- You must be available for some fun, essential, team training the week commencing 28th August. This is mandatory, so if you can't attend we won't be able to accept your application - sorry!
