Mythology Society

Are you interested in ancient myths from different parts of the world? Are you a fan of Percy Jackson? If this sounds appealing then the Mythology Society is for you!

HWU Mythology Society is open and looking for members to join our community.

ACTIVITIES TO LOOK FORWARD TO: 

  • Lively discussions about several topics including creation and destruction myths, forgotten heroes and empowered women in different mythologies. 
  • Thematic months to explore/discover smaller sections of less known myths, folklore and interlinked. 
  • Book club related to each month's theme.
  • Watch-alongs of different movies or TV shows mythology-related like the new Percy Jackson series on Disney+.

This society welcomes anyone who wants to learn from scratch or who has had a previous interest in any of the topics above. We aim to create a friendly space where you can hang out, have a nice time and meet new people. Looking forward to meeting you all! :)
