The basics
How to access your exam timetable
First up, let’s cover all bases. Hopefully none of you will just be finding out about this on our page here, but this is how you access the Heriot-Watt Exam Timetable. This is essential to know as 1. It has the time and 2. The location of your exam. They will more than likely either be in James Watt or Sports Hall 2 at the back of Oriam.
How do I get to my exam hall
Now, don’t panic if you don’t know where they are. We actually made a handy dandy video on how to get to Sports Hall 2 here, if you’ve never been before. If you don’t want to watch our brilliant content on our Instagram for whatever reason then we have also highlighted the two exam halls on the Campus Map here.
What should I bring
On the day you should bring:
- Your Heriot-Watt Student ID
- A physical calculator (not your phone!!)
- At least 100 black pens (just incase 99 of them run out)
- Plenty of water in a labeless bottle
Our HOW-TO study recommendation
Getting back into studying for exams can be a bit hard, suddenly your Highers in the summer seem so far away. Below is a useful YouTube video on getting back into studying. We found this really useful and informative, but you just have to promise us that you won't procrastinate anymore and come off YouTube straight away after the video finishes.
Our Music recommendations
The GOAT, the Greatest Of All Time. If you don’t know about “Lo-Fi Beats To Study To” then you’re about to find out. Nothing gets you more in the mood to get your study on than this. Now of course it won’t work for everyone but by god, if you want to feel like an academic weapon get a pair of headphones, put on the “Lo-Fi Beats To Study To”, and smash out your work.
