We'll say it again: F*ck Being Humble

It pains us to see great talent go unnoticed. That's why it's time to stop describing yourself as ‘hard-working’ and ‘friendly’ and really get under the skin of what you stand for and why people should care. People buy people, but only if you let your true personality shine through. This webinar will teach you how to confidently self-promote, communicate your achievements, utilise your online platforms and capture what makes you distinctly different.

Stefanie Sword Williams is the founder and author of F*ck Being Humble. She set up the platform to encourage individuals to be unapologetically proud of their achievements and overcome the fear of self-promotion. Named as Forbes 30 Under 30 in Europe, she has delivered workshops for global brands including Unilever, Warner Music, Google, ASOS, Microsoft, and for conferences such as Cannes Lions Festival and D&AD New Blood Festival. In 2020 Stef released her first book on why self-promotion isn't a dirty word and also delivered a TEDx Talk on why the world needs to be a little less humble.

Before turning her side hustle into a full-time mission, she worked in advertising for seven years telling brand stories for businesses all over the world. Working across strategy, client management and business development, Stef regularly pitched, presented and found unique ways to cut through the clutter. Never restricted by her title, Stef found the most enjoyment in building communities, creating purpose-led marketing and running international events.

Alongside delivering motivational talk and workshops, Stef has also been featured in press such as BBC World News, The Times, The Telegraph, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Stylist Magazine, Design Week, BBC 5 live, and BBC Radio London.

Within the creative industry Stef is often welcomed as an expert, this year she’s been invited to be a judge for D&AD awarding talent on their side hustles. Additionally, Stef hosts a monthly show on foundation.fm, a female-founded radio station that focuses on celebrating emerging talent and spotlighting voices who deserve to be showcased.
