You need 10 founding members (5 if your society is based at the Galashiels campus) to ensure there’s real interest and viability.

From these members, you’ll need to elect a Committee (President, Secretary & Treasurer). Your committee is the group that will lead the society, handle bookings, manage money, and make sure events run smoothly. You don’t need to know everyone yet — if you’ve got a great idea but not the people, we can help you find members.
