When can I join a society?

You can join a society at almost any time in the academic year — not just during Freshers. But the best time is during Freshers Week / Welcome Week when societies host stalls, run taster sessions, and other recruitment events. That’s when most committees are actively seeking new members and you can chat to them before you commit.
