How do I join a society?

  1. Check out the Societies List (on the HWUnion website) to see what’s available.
  2. Go to the society’s page — you’ll usually see a “Join” button at the bottom that adds a membership to your basket (even if joining is free).
  3. Go to your basket and complete the checkout process, paying the membership fee (if there is one) — this helps cover costs for events, equipment, etc.
  4. After that — show up! Attend meetings, socials, taster sessions, and get involved.
