Brewing Society

Heriot-Watt Brewing Society is open to all. Those who enjoy brewing, drinking great beer or those who just like a good chin wag. The society is a great place to meet new people and expand your own knowledge of this wonderful beverage. If you are a beer enthusiast or complete beginner, this is the society for you. 

Sign up to our society for only £10, to get your hands on our new 2023/2024 membership cards and discounts at selected outlets and breweries. If you are not a current Heriot-Watt student, please select the 'Associate Membership' option below.

About Us:

We have a fantastic line up of events for 2023/2024 to give you the full Heriot-Watt Brewing Society experience.

Over the coming academic year, the society has a lot planned including; pub crawls, in-person beer tastings, brewery tours, 'meet the brewer' talks and plenty of socials. We are also very excited to announce that we have a full brewing kit once again and are very excited to let you use it! New events willl be added throughout the year when details have been 100% confirmed. And we will be, of course, running our 37th annual Beer Festival in March 2023!
