This is a Casual, Part-Time role.

What’s the job?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging researcher to undertake analysis of our successful Learning and Teaching Oscars scheme. You will work independently, but as part of our Student Engagement team, to analyse nearly 10 years’ worth of student nominations to identify best practise in Learning and Teaching at Heriot-Watt University.

This is a full time, fixed term job – the job will be 35 hours a week for 5 weeks during July and August 2018. Usual hours will be Monday-Friday 9-5. 

Who are we?

We are Heriot-Watt University Student Union. We’re based at Riccarton and our main goal is to make sure that Heriot-Watt students have THE BEST TIME whilst studying here. We have a bar, café, nightclub and shop, plus we work with Students to make their time at Heriot-Watt the best it can be.

You’ll join a friendly, hardworking and professional team and have a real opportunity to make a difference to the future direction of Learning and Teaching at Heriot-Watt globally.

What do you get?

You will be paid £7.38 per hour plus holiday pay, gain invaluable experience of analysing qualitative data, and have that warm fuzzy feeling inside that you’re helping the students of HW make the most of their University experience.
