What is Global Day?
Did you know that Heriot-Watt students represent over 94 nationalities on the UK campuses alone! Impressive right?
Well, Global Day is an opportunity for us to celebrate and showcase our diversity at Heriot-Watt University. So, if you want to celebrate the country you’re from and your unique culture, then this is your time to shine!
How can I take part?
It's simple! All you have to do is book a stall with a friend and represent your country by decorating your stall the way you want it. In the past, we’ve had students bring in finger food from their country’s cuisine or write students' names in their country’s calligraphy. At this event, the world truly is your oyster!
