The Volunteer Awards 2022 are here!
It's our favourite time of the year - a chance for us to champion the fantastic volunteers we have at Heriot-Watt. We've looked through all your passionate and thoughtful nominations and now it's time for us to crown the winners.
Sounds great! Count me in!
Join us on 31st March 2022, 7pm, James Watt Centre to celebrate all our nominees with an unforgettable evening of awards, food and drink and a boogie with all your pals. Black tie dress code.
Tickets are £32 and include a two-course meal and drinks on arrival & on table. If you’d like to purchase more drinks, you can buy them ahead of the event here (please note we will not be able to sell drinks on the night).
Once you've purchased your ticket, make sure to complete the form on your ticket confirmation to tell us about any dietary requirements and seating preferences.
If you're nominated in any of our categories you will get a free ticket, so make sure to check your society/personal email first.
I'm not nominated. Can I still come?
In a word YES! We'd love for as many people as possible to help celebrate our volunteers and have an excuse to get all dressed up and see people in person.
Anything else?
We'll be supporting Dignity Boxes as our chosen charity this year. Raffle tickets and donation buckets will be available on the night so if you'd like to help us support them, please bring cash on the night or purchase your raffle tickets ahead of time online. We have some great prizes this year including:
- 2x tickets for Camera Obscura
- 2x tickets for Royal Yacht Britannia
- 5x tickets for Escape Reality
- An evening at The Stand Comedy Club
- Exclusive HWU Student Union merch.
