The Equality and Diversity Forum is an opportunity for interested students to discuss equality and diversity related topics important to them, with the help of University and Union staff. There will be special guest speakers and attendees including NUS UK Disability Rep, Beatrix Livesey-Stephens! They'll let you know about all the important issues and campaigns that are coming up in the next few months.

Find our agenda below:

Introductions – 15 minutes

· Student Union to introduce the event and layout of Forum to participants.

· Panel to introduce themselves individually and their roles.

· All panel to give any updates regarding their space/roles/departments.

Table Topic Discussions – 60 minutes

· Important topics such as grading and assessment, limitation and barriers you may be facing during your studies, extra EDI support from Union and many more will be led by individuals from the panel to sit at a table and gather feedback from students. Every 20 minutes the topic leads will move to a new table to continue gathering feedback on their topic.

· Online students will be hosted by NUS and VPC covering all topics.

Break – 15 minutes

Open Discussion with Panel – 30 minutes

· This will entail opening the floor to students to ask questions to the panel.

· Panel will have the opportunity to inform students directly from their departments/fields and help answer questions and queries.
