Silverknows beach
We have collaborated with many societies for our Sustainability Week Beach clean, the event will take place on Saturday the 6th of November at Silverknowes beach at 12pm.
For people who want to meet at campus if they could meet at the main entrance to the university at 10:15 where we will get the bus from campus to the location (don't forget your bus fairs). Alternatively, we can meet at the Boardwalk Beach Club on the Silverknowes promenade at 12pm.
The event has been arranged by the Ocean Conservation Society, and this is looking to be their biggest beach clean yet! The societies that will be joining us are;
- Ocean Conservation Soc
- Sleep Soc
- Eco Soc
- Magic Soc
- Biology Soc
- Brewing Soc
- Veg Soc
- Watt women in STEM soc
- Chemistry Soc

Ensure that you have waterproof shoes and clothing and also wrap up warm, it can get cold out there.
Protective gloves will be provided by the OCS courtesy of Surfers against sewage.
Can't wait to see you all there!
