We've planned a society crossover event with some other societies! We'll be playing with members from other societies from around the university, so it's a perfect time to get involved, doesn't matter if you're a complete beginner or a more experianced player! Join us for some fun games :)
They'll also be a free beginners lesson at 4pm on Zoom for people who want to brush up and then games afterwards for all skill levels!
Feel free to come to one or the other or both!
We'll start the games from 5pm but I'd recommend you get there a bit earlier just so you can make sure you're in at the start, but don't worry if you're late, you can drop in or out at any time!
The event will be played on the free chess website lichess, so you'll need to take a minute to make a free account if you haven't already.
Then click into whichever arena you want to join (I'd recommend you join the beginer group if you don't have a rating or your rating is below 1000):
