We all know that physical exercise is so important for our mental health and wellbeing and that’s never been more critical than it is right now during these extraordinary times. And no matter how locked-down we are, running is always allowed.
All are welcome, and you definitely don’t need to have completed a half marathon previously. If you can already run for 20-30 mins, even with a bit of walking mixed in, you’ll be able to follow our 12 week training plan.
Whether you end up completing your half marathon in under 2 hours or you decide to run/walk and it takes you a bit longer, it really doesn’t matter. All you need is a pair of trainers and a willingness to give it a go. What have you got to lose?!
Our 12 week training plan starts from w/c 11th January 2021 (Semester 2, Week 1), and will culminate in you completing a half marathon on Friday 2nd April, wherever you are in the world.
