Get set for exams

Exams are just around the corner...

Here are some top tips to help you get set for them.

CHECK YOUR SEAT AND YOUR EXAM TIMETABLE
You now access your seat number for exams via Student Self Service https://myhwu.hw.ac.uk/HWSAS8/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin

This will also tell you where you need to be and what time your exam is. Make sure you're on time. Plan how you're going to get to university on exam day and bear in mind the buses will be busy.

BOOK A THERAPET SESSION
The lovely Therapets are coming to the Union on 25th April. Sign up for a slot at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090944ABA922A7FE3-therapets3

GET PREPARED
Avoid eating all the chocolate you got at Easter! Try and eat well and exercise. It helps to sharpen your mind! Get a good night sleep before the exam and take the time to relax.

GET HELP
It's okay to not be okay. The Union's Advice Hub are on hand if exam stress is getting to you. The University are also running exam stress drop-in sessions throughout the exam period.
Monday-Friday (24th April – 19th May) 1400 – 1500 in the Student Support & Accommodation Office.

Good luck everybody!

Wellbeing Week

Posted 2 Months Ago

The Student Union has organised some great treats for our students as part of Wellbeing Week (Week 8).
From Therapets to petting alpacas and from dancing to yoga - we've had it all!

Our favourite dogs returned for cuddles and petting and for the first time ever we welcomed Bobcat Alpacas to the campus. They roamed around outside the Union as students flocked down to walk, pet, cuddle and get selfies with them!

The purpose of this week was to provide some events and support to help students out during this stressful time of the semester with deadlines looming etc.

Keep going guys, you're doing great! You're nearly there.

Big love,

Your Student Union
