Volunteering

What will you do today?
Volunteering is a great way to enhance your student experience! Not only will you have a positive impact on your local community, you’ll also get so much out of it yourself! You’ll meet new people, develop new skills, and build your CV – all while having lots of fun.
Your Union is here to support you in all your voluntary activities. If you’re unsure about volunteering, check out the FAQ section to learn more. If you still have any questions, you can e-mail anna.forrest@hw.ac.uk or stop by the Representation and Engagement Office in the Union building to speak to the Activities Coordinator.

Who can I ask for Help?
The Union has two full time members of staff here to support student volunteering! You can e-mail Oliver Ross - Volunteering Assistant - at o.d.ross@hw.ac.uk or Anna Forrest - Activities Coordinator - at anna.forrest@hw.ac.uk If you'd like to meet with us in person, we're based in the Representation and Engagement Office in the Student Union - just ask at reception.
