Our app is called StudentLink and is directly linked with our website - this means you have one account across them both, and the content is always up to date. Use the links below to download StudentLink from your relevant store (it's free) and then see below about getting yourself set up.
Setting Up Our App
Our app is shared by various Student Union's in the UK - and when you first load it you will be asked to pick the correct Student Union and then sign in using either your Student ID number (your H number) or your HW email address. The app will then magically become the Heriot-Watt University Student Union app, and the app icon will change to ours. Doing all this is easy we've listed the steps below:
- Open the StudentLink app
- Select "Heriot-Watt University Student Union" from the list
- Enter either your Student ID number (your H number) or your HW email address
- Click the link sent to your email to verify your account (it will reload back in to the StudentLink app)
- Enter the last few details it asks you for (including setting a PIN for quicker login next time)
- Ta da! You're in - you can start enjoying the benefits
